St Elizabeth Condominiums
St. Elizabeth was built as a boarding school in 1865 and later turned into an orphanage for girls in 1870. After nearly 120 years of operation, the orphanage was moved and purchased a few years later by New Orleans native and renowned author Anne Rice. KFK Group acquired the massive, 47,000 SF property in the early 2000’s and set a new standard for luxury condominium living in Uptown New Orleans. Completed in 2004, the project resulted in the transformation of the former orphanage into 28 distinct condominiums and 5 newly constructed high-end town homes. While every floor plan was uniquely historic, the shared amenities provided the modern luxury owners desire.
